A couple of years later, we released Elasticsuite for Magento2. Actually this searchandising solution is the most downloaded extension for Magento with more than 2 millions downloads.

In 2022, considering the evolution of Magento himself, and the E-Commerce ecosystem in general, we felt it was a good time to get out of Magento and to start building something that could live on its own without being tied to a particular solution.

We wanted to build an app that would allow any merchant to make his business strategy fit with business rules that could be easily configured by his team in a nice and comfy Back-Office .

We wanted to build a tool that would be API-first and ready for composable commerce, because we think that's how E-Commerce applications should be designed nowadays.

We wanted to build a searchandising tool that would still be Open Source, so that merchants and agencies can still craft unique User Experiences on top of it.

We wanted to build a solution that could be self-deployed and would not require a subscription based on traffic and/or catalog size, because we are attached to data privacy and we think that merchants should always remain the owners of their business data.
